Like everything that we make, our vine lamps are as unique in process of manufacture as in design. Each of the five bars that makes up the lamp is hand textured to represent the organic nature of vine and is then shaped by hand (there are never two the same) into a flowing form culminating into a woven knot, a Clayton Knot to be exact, that leaves most people asking "how did you do that?". On either side of the knot are scrolled copper wraps. The leaves on the pictured lamp are forged one at a time out of solid copper then veined by hand with a "cold chisel" then seamlessly fused onto the steel. The shades are made one at a time out of the finest glass available. We design our shades to utilize the unique color and qualities of hand made glass to its fullest potential. Arranging the perfectly shaped pieces of glass into beautiful forms of symmetry that bring light into your home in a warm glow that is unrivaled by any other material. Each shade is a display of color and "craftswomenship" that is as unique as every lamp and every thing that we make. Offered in numerous color choices as well as options in copper and patinas for the came and leading that make up the framework of the lamps. Lamp as pictured is 27" x 20".
